Flight attendants reportedly warned her to control her 23-month-old son as they taxied down the runway when the pilot suddenly announced they were turning around to refuel. By the time they were back at the gate, her son was asleep but she was still forced to get off the plane.
"He's just a 2-year-old crying on an airplane and squirming a little bit. I was shocked and so were the people around me," she explains to ABC News. Sarah Tweeted her outrage about the incident, which quickly went viral.
Sarah denies her son was in the aisle and says she was holding him. United recently came under fire for booting an autistic passenger from a flight.
