Caitlyn Jenner just joined Twitter today and she's already amassed over 1.4 million followers - in a matter of hours. In doing so, she actually broke a Twitter record, which was formerly held by the President of the United States.

When @POTUS joined Twitter, Barack Obama reached one million followers in just under five hours. When @Caitlyn_Jenner joined, she reached one million followers in four hours and four minutes, breaking the President's record.

When Caitlyn heard the news, the former Olympian had the perfect response: And the President isn't mad about Caitlyn's popularity. In fact, he took to his own @BarackObama Twitter account to commend her courage: Caitlyn is also on Facebook and Instagram and is quickly building up her follower bases those social media sites as well.

Welcome to social media, Caitlyn, we're glad to have you and can't wait to hear what you have to say!
