According to the New York Post, the "Energy" rapper is in talks to sign a rumored $19 million deal with Apple to be a guest DJ for iTunes Radio, among other things. Drake is reportedly just one of a list of artists the tech company wants to sign on to the project, with Apple also trying to get Pharrell Williams and DJ David Guetta on board.
While there's no word yet on what exactly Drake's role will be if he takes the deal, it looks like we won't have to wait too much longer to find out what's in store. According to CNN, Apple will be making several announcements during its weeklong World Wide Developers Conference that takes place every June in San Francisco.
When Apple execs take the stage at the conference the morning of June 8, one of those announcements is supposed to be about an Apple Music streaming service that is "likely a repackaged version" of Beats Music.
