Did you know that texting drivers are 23 times more likely to get involved in a crash? and Sprint have partnered with Laura Marano, the star of DIsney Channel's Austin & Ally, for a hands-on campaign called Thumb Wars that will literally save lives.

To prevent people - especially teens - from texting and driving, Thumb Wars will send you two free pairs of Thumb Socks (literally tiny socks for your thumbs that make it impossible for you to text!) if you just sign up at The idea is to keep one pair for yourself and to give the other to a family member or friend to help hand out the message.

Laura gave Cambio the inside scoop (above) and also answered questions from fans about her hidden talent, what #BUILTBYGIRLS means to her and more.
We love Laura's personal extra tip for avoiding the temptation to text: "I think my strategy for not texting while driving is that I always put my phone in my purse. That way if I'm like 'Oh I should text,' I have to go through my purse and it's too complicated, so I'm like, 'Don't do that,'" she says. "But I think actually getting the thumb socks is a great strategy, because you literally can't text when you have them [on]."

Sign up to get your own Thumb Socks, and then watch the full PSA below.
