But We Don't Want to Grow Up!

Having responsibilities is exhausting. Gone are the days that forgetting our homework on the kitchen counter and not being able to reach mom in time to drop it off at the front office at school before math class, was our biggest problem. Now, we have to remember to eat (and pay for) our own lunch and do our laundry often enough so that we always have clean underwear and do the dishes before they pile up so high in the sink that they start to resemble a small mountain. The. List. Goes. On.

Sigh...we finally understand what Peter Pan was talking about. If we could go back in time and tell the kid version of ourselves to stay the kid version of ourselves for as long as the kid version of ourselves could, you can bet your bottom dollar that we would!
