How This Heroic Bus Driver Stopped a Kidnapping in Progress

When this bus driver started his route in the morning, he probably thought it was going to be like any other day. What he didn't realize was that he was about to become a hero.

Tim Watson got an alert about an alleged kidnapping and when he read the alert, he noticed that the child, and the suspect, were on his bus.

"I saw him teary eyed," he said regarding the 3-year-old boy. He recounted the description that was given of the outfit that the boy was last seen wearing and it included red Crocs, so he knew he had to check for those to see if he had the right kid. But, how was he going to do that without the suspect being tipped off?

"I got out and announced 'I'm looking for a green backpack,'" the quick-thinking driver recalls. Of course, he wasn't looking for a backpack at all, but in his fake search, he did spot the red Crocs. "That was good enough for me," he explained.

He went back to the front of the bus, called authorities and the boy was pried from the alleged kidnapper's arms when they arrived. "I just did what any father would do," Tim humbly concluded. Any father that is extremely quick at thinking on his feet!
