Bethany Hamilton has a new little surfer on her hands.

The 25-year-old Soul Surfer author, who lost her left arm in a shark attack in 2003, is officially a mom to a baby boy, sharing the news with fans on Facebook Monday.

"Blessed to welcome our son, Tobias, into the world. Born June 1st, 7.9 lbs. and 21" Long. He is named after his great grandpa Tobias meaning "The goodness of God." Adam and I so in love with our lil guy and are stoked to share life with him! #stokedmomma Photo: @TimmyHamilton," Bethany captioned the cute pic, which showed her and her hubby Adam Dirks glancing down at their bundled up little one.
Bethany first revealed she was pregnant back in February, posting a YouTube video, in which she talked about her pregnancy experiences and her thoughts on handling motherhood with only one arm.

"I've been thinking about it, but I often forget that I have one arm," she said. "When I think about it, a squirming baby and changing the diaper...I think how I live life, just adjust and adapt to different things, especially things that are a lot easier with two arms."

"There's going to be things that will be very challenging with one arm, but I'll just have to find my own way to take care of this baby," she continued. "Of course, I'll have Adam to help, but if he's out and about busy, I'll have to...figure it out and be creative."

Bethany has already overcome so many odds (hello, she survived a shark attack and is still kicking butt on her surfboard), that we have no doubt she'll ace motherhood. Considering how often she hit the waves with little Tobias in her belly, we have a feeling we'll see her baby on a surfboard as soon as he is old enough. Congrats to the couple!
