We already love the Smurfette character, and we loved when Katy Perry voiced it in the first two Smurfs movies, but Smurfette just got even cooler because Demi Lovato will be voicing her for the franchise's next animated film, Get Smurfy.

Katy, Demi and Smurfette? It's basically a trifecta of amazingness on the Smurf front.

Demi shared the exciting news in a promo for the movie on The Smurfs Facebook page (below), where she started off with her back turned to keep us in suspense for just a few extra seconds. Then, she turned around and we were virtually high-fiving all of the fellow Lovatics around the world.

No shade, KP, we've got mad love for you, too!

No word on why the "Roar" singer gave up the role, but she certainly has plenty to keep her busy right now, anyway. She's just been named the new face of Moschino AND she's reportedly planning to release another new album by next year. So, girl's got more than enough on her plate.

Anyway, back to the Smurfs, the film hits theaters March 31, 2017 and we can't wait. Check out Demi's big announcement below.
Meet the GET SMURFY cast!
