He claims it was "hard and rubbery" after he bit into it before he realized it was in the shape of a rat. After posting photos and video of the suspicious looking item on Facebook, he claims he froze it in a bag and took it back to the restaurant 2 days later, where the manager supposedly confirmed it was a rat and offered him a free meal. He says he denied the offer and hired a lawyer instead.
But now KFC is speaking out, and it sounds like his claims may be bogus. "KFC takes customer claims very seriously, and we are continuing to investigate this matter. Our chicken tenders often vary in size and shape, and we currently have no evidence to support this claim. We are aggressively trying to reach Mr. Dixon, and we request that he return to the restaurant with the product for testing, or call us at 1-800-CALL-KFC," they wrote on Facebook.
Check out this imgur that explains how when the picture is flipped, you can see it looks like white meat chicken where he bit into it. There's also no feet on the "rat" where they should be in the photo.
Do you think this is a really a rat or do you smell a rat yourself?
