Don't mess with Justin Bieber's friends! One self proclaimed Belieber was called "a prick" by Justin on Instagram after he hated on his pal Khalil Sharieff. All of that didn't go down without a Zayn Malik reference either! WTF?!

Bieber was responding to Instagram user Connor Darlington's comment at one of Khalil's non-captioned Instagram posts, in which Connor called Khalil "self-obsessed."

Shortly after Connor left his comment, Bieber shot back on one of Connor's posts...that just so happened to be a jab at Zayn.

Justin wrote, "You should be ashamed of yourself and how you talk to people, he's a human being on a journey like the rest of us [.] Everyone is handed different cards you judgmental prick."

So, because Bieber posted that on that post, everyone thought he was defending Zayn leaving One Direction. Not the case. It just happened to be where Justin posted his fireback to Connor's Khalil jab. Get it?
Connor made fun of himself and cleared up Bieber's comment shortly after it was posted. He put up a screenshot of the Biebs' comment, alongside a note which read, "When Justin Bieber calls you a prick." Connor's post also included a screenshot of his reply to Bieber. It said, "@justinbieber well no need to react like that Jesus."

Fans of both 1D and Bieber chimed in with comments about the Insta exchange. Everyone thought JB was defending Zayn. To explain even more, Connor posted a shot of Justin, explaining the whole situation in detail. Connor also wrote an apology to Khalil.

So what are the lessons learned here? Don't talk s**t on the Biebs and his BFFs. Oh, and Justin wasn't really defending Zayn...
