Ever since Bobbi Kristina Brown was placed in a medically induced coma in late January, rumors about the 22-year-old's condition have continually surfaced, with some claiming that she would be removed from life support, while others maintain that her family is divided over how to proceed with her medical treatment. Apparently, the latest rumor was troubling enough for Bobby Brown to issue a formal statement through his attorney. Contrary to multiple reports that claim Bobbi Kristina's condition has deteriorated to the point where she will soon be taken home to die in peace, Bobby's lawyer explicitly denied those rumors.

Speaking with the media, attorney Christopher Brown said, "Due to the numerous false reports and sensationalism regarding Bobbi Kristina over the last two weeks, there is a need to comment. Bobbi Kristina is not going home to die as numerous news affiliates and websites have reported."

Brown's attorney also specifically addressed a recent article published by TMZ that describes the singer as being "irate" with his sister Leolah over her supposed campaign to halt Bobbi Kristina's medical treatment due to money concerns.

"Bobby Brown never gave an interview to TMZ," he said.

Meanwhile, Bobbi Kristina's father has remained relatively quiet on her condition. In April, he told a crowd of concertgoers Bobbi Kristina was "awake," which was one of the most positive progress reports to date. However, that promising update was diminished during a radio interview given by Bobbi Kristina's grandmother Cissy Houston, who said there wasn't a "great deal of hope" for her granddaughter to recover.
