It's like as soon as your cycle hits, one minute you want something salty, the next minute something sweet. The next minute salty and sweet at the same time. Now, there's a solution for all of that.
While there's no magic pill to make those cravings go away (yet), blogger Stefani Pollack of The Cupcake Project created a solution to satisfy them in the meantime. We present to you...the PMS Pie (yes, this really exists).
To come up with the Chocolate Potato Chip PMS Pie, Stefani polled her readers about their monthly PMS cravings and used those results - mostly chocolate and potato chips - to create it. This dish is basically a pie made with layers of potato chips, with chocolate and caramel on top. Salty and sweet all in one and you can make it at home. Stefani deserves a praise clap.
Some of her readers said they need peanut butter when Aunt Flo arrives, so she also suggested substituting half of the chocolate chips in the recipe for peanut butter chips. For those with ice cream urges, she wrote, "just throw a scoop on top" of the pie. And she even had idea for those who crave meat: simply toss some crumbled bacon in with the chocolate chips.
