Umm...perhaps it's time to try the wide-leg trouser trend.
Rocking skinny jeans actually landed a woman in the hospital, after the 35-year-old experienced muscle damage, swelling and nerve blockages in her legs after squatting in them for several hours, according to the Associated Press.
"We were surprised that this patient had such severe damage to her nerves and muscles," Dr. Thomas Kimber of the Royal Adelaide Hospital in Australia, reportedly said in an email.
Apparently, the woman spent the previous day helping a friend move and was squatting for long periods while emptying cupboards. She was wearing skinny jeans and while she was walking home, she fell and couldn't get up. To make matters worse, she was stranded on the ground for hours before she was able to get help and go to a hospital.
When she finally got there, the jeans were so tight that they had to cut them off. Then, she had to stay in the hospital to get treatment for four days. Luckily, she was able to fully recover, walked out of the hospital and got back to her life (hopefully without skinnies).
Still, there's a 99 percent chance we're going to have nightmares about this.
