They released a song together, then fizzled out after it's release. So was Selena and Zedd's romance legit, or put on for the tune's sales? Selena just cleared all that ish up...
When asked on Tuesday's The Edge Afternoons with Guy, Sharyn and Clint, Selena told the New Zealand radio station that she "definitely had a thing" with Zedd. Despite what some haters have said...ahem, Diplo.
Earlier this month, Dip was discussing his supposed feud with Zedd, and told Radio.com that while he was "not enemies with Zedd," he didn't necessarily like the way he was being marketed. "Now he's pegged as a money-maker for a major label to do EDM, which to me isn't even a genre," said Diplo, adding, "They've pegged him for that. They've marketed him, even the fake relationship with Selena Gomez."
Selena told the radio station she talked to Diplo about the comment afterwards, and "he said that was a joke." She noted, "It's very interesting that Diplo would think he knew about my personal life, but he doesn't," before adding, "I adore Anton [Zedd] a lot and I definitely had a thing with him, which was nice."
Dang. Take that, peeps. Her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber even takes a jab at her song with Zedd and their relationship in his new "Where Are U Now?" music video. Watch that, here.
Listen below to Selena deny that her time with Zedd was fake.
