If you've ever seen Portlandia, you may remember the skit from the first episode where the two main characters are quizzing their waitress about the origins of the chicken on the menu. "His name was Colin," the waitress offered, along with a photo and registration papers for the fowl on the menu.

While this is a tongue-in-cheek jab at the organic foodie culture, there's something to be said about knowing where your food comes from. But what about the origins of your favorite wool sweater? One company just made that a reality.

Based in Australia, The Woolmark Company is the world's best-known textile fabric organization that is known for promoting wool as a luxury product, just released this video of farm sheep frolicking on a farm - all to show the consumer where their clothing fibers come from. They attached Go Pro cameras to the sheep, dogs, shearers and the wool itself. If you're ever wondering what life is like for the farm animals that (in essence) made the socks you're wearing right now, here's a sheep's eye view. It's real cute, y'all.
