Why Teens Are Drawing on Their Face for #DontJudgeChallenge

Was Jennifer Lawrence doing the #dontjudgechallenge when she stepped out with a marker mustache and unibrow drawn on her face? ICYMI, the #dontjudgechallenge has been trending on social media and features people purposely making themselves less attractive before transforming with the wave of a hand.

The challenge has spawned its own Twitter account with almost 25,000 followers, and guys are getting in on it as well.
The hashtag was supposedly started against body shaming and to encourage people not to judge a book by its cover, but some teens say it's doing just the opposite and is an excuse for pretty people to show off. As one critic pointed out, "You're making yourself look less attractive just to show you're attractive."
Others have posted their own version of the challenge featuring them glammed up in the before version and them with no makeup after looking just as gorgeous.
We're pretty sure this guy summed up our thoughts perfectly.
#BeautyInAllChallenge was started in response to the original challenge, and encourages people to share what they love about themselves despite insecurities. YAAAS! Now this is a challenge we can get behind.
