Forget saving up your money for an exotic dream vacation in Hawaii or Paris, because your next trip needs to include a stop in Ōkunoshima, Japan. It's a small island located in the city of Takehara, Hiroshima. It's also known as "rabbit island."
That's right. "Rabbit island" is filled with feral-yet-friendly bunnies that are (supposedly) leftover generations of bunnies dating back to World War II. They have a friendly reputation and are all about coming up to strangers (especially if it means snacks). We're talking bunny cuddle-puddles here, people.
The island has a resort-style hotel, golf course, pool and nature trails. So when you're not petting bunnies (why would you stop, though?), you can enjoy the rest of the island. Um, sign us up.
