Cara, who has been busy promoting her new movie, Paper Towns, appeared on morning show Good Day Sacramento. Things started off straight away on the wrong foot, with the interviewer calling her Carla. Seriously?!
Let's just say it didn't get any better from there, either.
The interviewers asked if she read the book (she joked that she hadn't saying, "I just winged it") and commented on how Cara seemed less excited in this interview than in others, asking if she was "just exhausted."
One of the anchors noted, "You do seem a bit irritated. Perhaps it's just us," with Cara firing back, "Yeah, I think it's just you." Slay.
They ended things on a crap note, telling Cara "You go take a nap, have a Red Bull, how about that?"
And then the feed dropped. Imagine that.
They even carried on a little post-interview rudeness, commenting, "Oh wow, she was in a mood. Holy Jeez Louise. Everything sarcastic...I don't know, I think she was just a little irritated."
UPDATE: Cara took to Twitter to explain where things went wrong with the interview - just as we suspected, sarcasm.
