The singer reportedly took a few days off from her 1989 World Tour to jet off to Los Angeles to see her friend's baby be born. He came into the world on July 16, and his fairy Godmother was there to see his arrival.
"Meeting my boy," Tay captioned a photo of herself cuddling the babes. A second image of Leo Thames' hand curled around Taylor's finger included her lyric, "Your little hand's wrapped around my finger and it's so quiet in the world tonight..." from her song "Never Grow Up."
The baby's mama also chimed in, sharing the same pic, writing, "My loves meet. Baby boy Leo Thames and his God Mother = Bliss."
The actress made it clear a few months ago that Taylor would get the honor when her son made his debut. "She's such a beautiful human being," Jaime told People. "For me, in regards to a godparent ... that is a really sacred thing."
She added, "It was because of her morals and her values, the way that she treats people and how hard-working she is ... her family and how close she is to them. I see what she gives out there to her fans and to her family. That's the kind of person I want to be the guide and the spiritual protector of my child."
