Sofia Mechetener knows how to slay a runway...and she's only 14.

The stunning Israeli model, who looks like she's been strutting down catwalks for years, is also the new face of Christian Dior's fall collection. She was discovered by the brand after her agent sent her to Paris and Dior creative director Raf Simons spotted her in one of their stores, according to ABC News.

It's been sort of a Cinderella story for Sofia, considering she and her family were struggling to make ends meet, and now she has reportedly signed a $200,000 contract (can you imagine having that kind of cash at 14?!).

But, with fame, also comes critics. Because Sofia is only 14, there has been a big debate over whether or not she is too young to walk on runways scantily clad. When she walked in the brand's show earlier this month, for example, people flipped out when she strutted down the catwalk in a sheer dress that showed her nipples.

Still, Sofia isn't letting any haters get her down. She told The Jerusalem Post, "Fashion nudity is about art and not about sexuality." Although Sofia has been able to model overseas, the Council of Fashion Designers in America has issued guidelines saying a model has to be 16 years old to work. The British Fashion Council has also been cracking down, banning models under 16 years old from walking in London Fashion Week.

It's awesome that Sofia's career is on the rise and she's making money to help out her family, but it might be a better look if she can stay away from clothing that reveals too much of her body (if that's possible). We understand her argument about artistic nudity and that it comes with the territory, but it's tough for most people to see it that way when it's a 14-year-old who is nude.
