Carly Rae Jepsen is back with another single off her upcoming album E•MO•TION and the pop diva's musical turnup continues full steam ahead.
The 29-year-old singer and Cyndi Lauper enthusiast recently released "Warm Blood," and it's already flowing smoothly through our veins.
The pop star's latest musical effort was produced and co-written by Vampire Weekend's Rostam Batmanglijm, and while you may glance at the title and search for similarities to Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood," Carly goes in the complete opposite direction. Instead of calling out her enemies, Carly's lyrically laying bare all her romantic feelings. As she sings in the song, she's "spinning in circles of love" thanks to that special someone.
Sigh. Carly's such a hopeless romantic and we love her for it.
"Warm Blood" comes two weeks after Carly released the wanderlust-themed "Run Away With You" video, in which she frolicked all over the world in pursuit of her heart's desires (read: her new bae).
After watching the infectious visuals and jamming to the song, we were even more anxious for Carly's album to hurry up and get here! E•MO•TION arrives in the US on Aug. 21, but in the meantime we'll gladly keep Carly's first four singles on repeat.
