The rapper was served during a meet-and-greet in Hollywood while he was promoting his sneakers and while it wasn't clear (at least not to the public) what he was being sued about, the process server told a TMZ photog that he's "not paying somebody."
Recently, Tyga has also been having some landlord/tenant issues, where he has been sued by two different landlords for owing back rent, so it might have had something to do with one of those cases.
Now, Tyga has yet another legal problem on his hands, as he's being sued for something totally different. Where the other situations have been about Tyga NOT performing on his agreements, this case is actually about performing too much.
According to TMZ, the 25-year-old got $25,000 to perform at Body English in Las Vegas last summer, but part of the deal was that he wouldn't perform anywhere in Vegas for a week before the performance and a month after. When the promoter - Z Entertainment - found out that Tyga was on stage, in Vegas, the night before the gig, they weren't happy. They also claim that he didn't show for a gig in Santa Monica back in November and they're seeking $100,000 in damages.
