Summer is in full effect, and if you're like me, you're really starting to feel the physical and mental toll the heat has on your beauty regimen. It can be stressful and taxing to try to look cute when it's scorching hot out. Seriously, I'm positive that I've wasted more makeup these past couple months than I have worn all year. Ughh!
Because I'm not the only one struggling to get ready in the summer months, I've put together a list of woes us girls experience when trying to get pretty in 100-degree weather. Here we go...
Immediately after stepping out the shower, I am drenching wet with water AND sweat because I'm already hot AF.
Then drying off from the shower makes me sweat even more.
Trying to put on my makeup while sweating is impossible.
Once I get my makeup right, it defies me and sweats off.
But I'm not able to dab off the sweat for fear of wiping off my eyebrows.
Trying to do my hair in this heat is like primping in a sauna.
I want to wear my hair down but have to put it in a ponytail because neck sweat is real.
Humidity and heat will ruin my pretty 'do anyways, so I'm screwed either way.
By the time I get to my room to get dressed, it's like the last 30 minutes didn't exist.
I put on clothes, and already things are sticking to places they shouldn't be.
Here comes the under-the-boob sweat.
When I slip on my summer dress, I realize I have to shave my legs AGAIN.
But I have no time because my makeup routine took forever.
I am Chewbecca.
I'm still sweating through my dress.
But I convince myself that it's all going to be OK.
Whatever, forget today. I'm going to the beach.
