Insanely popular YouTuber PewDiePie's fans will clap back if you try to shade him.

The Twitterverse slammed Bella Thorne after she presented the Teen Choice award for Male Choice Web Star with her boyfriend Gregg Sulkin, and appeared to throw shade at the Internet star (a.k.a. Felix Kjellberg) while announcing the nominees.

"Felix something, something, something, you know what? Be here if you want to hear the rest of your name," Bella said. And then chaos broke out on Twitter. Not long after the comments rolled in, Bella hit Twitter to respond, tweeting that what looked like a diss on her part was actually just words from the script she was reading.

Although PewDiePie didn't win the award (that went to fellow YouTuber Cameron Dallas), it turns out he has a huge loyal fan base. To date, he has over 38 million (!) YouTube subscribers and over 6 million Twitter followers.

Followers you don't want to mess with.
