Snapchat Saves Your Data - And the Relationship With Your 'Rents

Have you (or your parents...) noticed something eating up all your data? The culprit is likely Snapchat, constantly downloading Stories when you aren't connected to WiFi.

Thankfully, Snapchat put an end to the data destruction last week with a new update that introduced Travel Mode, which prevents stories from automatically downloading when your phone is running on cellular data. Now, you'll just have to click on the users whose Stories you wanna see, but waiting two seconds for a Snap to DL is WAY better than a savage face-off with the rents every month when they get the phone bill.
This update comes just in time. Since celebs and brands are increasing their presence on Snapchat every day, the new feature will allow us to stalk tons of stars without worrying about it being a huge data suck.

That's not the only silver lining that came with the update. The first (and our fave) is the Sticker Picker, which allows you to add unlimited emojis to your snaps without using the one-line text box. You can now also export your Snapcodes via video file, so that you can share on Facebook and Twitter, making it easier to be added by new friends. AND you can tap the eye next to the amount of views your Snap has received to see who's keeping up with you - and maybe scope out some potential baes in the process. #Winning
