Jessica Alba is a total inspiration.

The mom of two is not only a successful actress, but has officially become one of the richest self-made millionaires in the United States thanks to her business the Honest Company, according to Marie Claire UK.

The Entourage actress now has an estimated net worth of $340 million (!), after starting the business with co-owner Christopher Gavigan only a few years ago. When they first started the Honest Company it was only meant to produce non-toxic baby products, but has since expanded to a beauty and lifestyle line.

Jessica funded the company with money she saved from her acting career, saying at the Forbes Women's Summit earlier this year, "I made a lot of money in entertainment at a very young age and I saved it. I just needed to make as much money as quickly as possible, knowing it was going to go away at some point. I was very deliberate about it."

It was a smart business move to say the least, considering the company brought in $150 million in revenue in 2014, and is already valued at $1 billion.

Not everyone believed in the Honest Company Jessica was trying to create, though, or took her seriously in the beginning. "People just saw me as this girl in a bikini in movies kicking butt — maybe not the brightest bulb," she continued. "It took three and a half years of condescending nods and pats on the back of "good luck" or "go back to endorsing things" or "go do a perfume."

She clearly proved them wrong. Now, Jessica is focusing on taking The Honest Company to an even bigger level, saying, "One billion feels like a small number for the opportunity of what's possible," she said. "For me, as a person at home with my kids? It's crazy. It's awesome."

It certainly is.
