Well here's an interesting development with One Direction's new hit "Drag Me Down" - musician/producer/DJ Zedd has accused (or maybe suggested? hinted?) that the 1D tune copies part of his song "True Colors."

Zedd posted a little comparison video as proof, tweeting a sad emoji along with the clip, to prove his point. Similar? Well, kind of.

It's three words – "All my life" from his "True Colors" up against the same lyrics from "Drag Me Down." Do those three words constitute enough of a plagiarism claim though?

Fans wasted no time taking sides – some thought he might have been joking, while others believed he made a valid point. And, unsurprisingly, some of the 1D fandom went on the attack. Because of course.
