Chanel's creative director, Karl Lagerfeld, told Women's Wear Daily the American Ultra star is set to play an actress playing Coco Chanel as a young woman in a film being made for the fashion house's next Métiers d'Arts show.
And she won't be playing nice. In the fictional, behind-the-scenes look at a biopic about Chanel founder Gabrielle Chanel, Karl said Kristen played the role "really, really mean."
"You only see her in tests and she's complaining about everything," he continued. "She's mean with the director; mean with the producer." Veteran actress Geraldine Chaplin will also appear in the film as a middle-aged Chanel, when it debuts Dec. 1 in Rome.
This isn't the first time Kristen and Karl have collaborated on a project, though. The Twilight star has become a bit of a muse for the fashion icon, appearing in Chanel campaigns and regularly making appearances at the brand's shows.
