We are only beginning to discover the possibilities that 3D-printing has to offer and while a lot of them are for fun things, like toys, action figures and similar stuff, some people have figured out how to use it in a way that is even more groundbreaking.

In this case, a company called Team UnLimbited is creating 3D-printed prosthetic limbs for people and this heartwarming video shows just how incredible their work is as one of their recipients opens up her brand new, 3D-printed, prosthetic arm.

While the joy on her face is evident, Isabella's father explains that the beautiful gift has had a huge impact on the little girl's life. "The impact on Isabella's confidence was almost immediate, she's never been a shy girl but we are aware of when she is self conscious, particularly in public places where she tends to get the odd unwanted stare or whispered question," he wrote on the EnablingtheFuture Blog.

"The gadget is so bright and bold that she insisted on wearing it to the local supermarket straight after she got it and proudly strutted around wanting the world to see it. She's been keen to show it off and explain how it works ever since she got it and to almost anyone that will listen," he continued. we're crying!

Isabella is one of the beta testers for Team UnLimbited and the company is working with feedback from Isabella and other beta testers to put together a design that they can begin producing hopefully in the near future.
