The Woman Who Died in the Crash Involving Caitlyn Jenner Is Being Sued
Kim Howe, the woman who lost her life in the crash involving Caitlyn Jenner, is being sued for $18.5 million, TMZ is reporting. When Kim's car was struck, she was pushed into oncoming traffic, where she was hit head-on by a Hummer and tragically died.
Five creditors claims against Kim's estate, filed by the five occupants of the Hummer, claim that she was negligent when her car careened into oncoming traffic and struck their car. The site reports that the creditors' claims are non-specific, but do allege that she was negligent and that she caused the collision.
They apparently also plan to file a suit against Caitlyn at a later time.
This isn't the first lawsuit associated with this unfortunate incident. Caitlyn is also facing lawsuits from Jessica Steindorff, one of the other drivers in the accident, who is reportedly seeking compensatory and punitive damages and she's also being sued by Kim's two adult stepchildren.
The District Attorney is also reviewing the case and prosecutors will ultimately decide whether or not to file vehicular manslaughter charges.
