'DWTS': The Ballroom Showdown Is Back!
There will also be loads of familiar faces back in the ballroom for Season 21 of the hit show. The team returning to the judges table will be Carrie Ann Inaba, Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli. Unfortantely, Len Goodman will be stepping down from the head judge position after 20 seasons and 10 years on the show. I am kind of upset that we won't get to hear, "FROM LEN A TEN" anymore. Even though Len Goodman will not be returning, there will be a load of guest judges this year to take his place, so don't worry guys!
My favorite part of the show is seeing who the returning pro dancers are going to be. Val Chmerkovskiy will be returning to defend his title this year! As you can tell from his Twitter account the last few days, he is hoping for a back-to-back victory! Derek Hough. Karina Smirnoff is also making her return to the ballroom after a few seasons off. And let's not forget incumbent hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews.
The celebrity pairings will be officially be announced on September 2 at 8 a.m. on Good Morning America, but Dancing with the Stars has leaked some celebrities who will be on the show this week. The four who have been announced include Bindi Irwin, the daughter of the late Steve Irwin (aka the Crocodile Hunter); Victor Espinoza, the Triple Crown jockey who rode horse American Pharaoh; Nick Carter, former Backstreet Boy, and cook Paula Dean.
I know. Now everyone is like, "OMG, I can't wait two more weeks to watch DWTS now!" Well, don't get too upset over this because Derek Hough can help you out with that. Just watch him as well as other pro dancers dancing to the Nae Nae for the new TV promos.
Eighteen more days till DWTS returns! Get ready!
