2015 MTV VMAs RoundUp: Jojo Is Back, Rebecca Black Talks New Music and More!

The MTV Video Music Awards carpet was insane!

It was probably one of the coolest red carpet set ups we've seen so far – and thank goodness in the middle of the L.A. heat wave – it was in an air conditioned tented area (amen).

Rather than the typical red carpet, where celebs pose for photos, do quick interviews and go into an event, the live pre-show went down right on the carpet, with Nick Jonas performing "Levels" in front of photographers and MTV and YouTube star Todrick Hall tearing it up on stage as reporters tried to grab celebs for interviews.

In the midst of all of that action there was also a 'Pupparazzi Pen' on the red carpet. In it, adorable puppies from the Shelter Pet Project rocked looks that stars have worn at past VMAs. Stars like Vanessa Hudgens, Bella Thorne and more couldn't get enough of the cuddly little pups and picked them up before heading into the show.
2015 MTV Video Music Awards - Red CarpetWhile we were taking in all the sights and sounds, we also chatted up quite a few stars before Nicki Minaj kicked off the VMAs (and later snapped on Miley Cyrus). Silento showed us how to Whip/Nae Nae, and T-Pain had us ROTFL when we asked him which stars at the VMAs could make him pass out if they touched his metallic tie.
In addition to that, Rebecca Black dished to us about her new single "Alive," and Jojo talked about her music comeback (yassss!). And that was just the beginning. Check out our full red carpet round up in the clip above!
