Will the New iPhone Have a Weeklong Battery?!
On September 9, at 1 PM EST/10 AM PST, Apple will make a special announcement that will clear up all the rumors that are circulating about the new iPhone. But until then, all we can do is keep gossiping.
Harper's Bazaar reports that the iPhone 6S is likely releasing on September 18, 2015, and that the phone will be available for pre-order on September 11.
So, while we we thought that we were most amped about the new pink color, it seems that there's some other news, too. The most exciting? The geniuses at Apple have been working on a hydrogen battery that may last up to SEVEN days, but other experts are skeptical of the technology. Here's how it's supposed to work: Hydrogen and oxygen combine in a tiny cell, creating a strong AF electric surge. We can't wait to see if this is too good to be true, or a total tech game changer.
The display size is said to remain at approximately 4.7 inches, as a result of the new Force Touch feature will account for a barely noticeable 0.17mm increase in height and 0.25mm rise in thickness. Force Touch, which is already instilled in the Apple Watch, allows the pressure of your finger to do more than just tap on this and move thing around. Score!
Finally, the 6S is rumored to start at the 32GB size, which isn't surprising - the new MacBook now start at 256 GB, compared to the old models that began at 128 GB.
With this new phone also comes a new operating system, iOS 9, so even if you don't have the cash for a new phone, start freeing up some data!
