One Direction have done a lot of good during their career, but this may be their biggest move yet. And it involves the fans in such a huge way, getting them on board for a global campaign to truly make the world a better place.

How many celebs do that?

Using the social media campaign #action1D, fans submitted their responses to the action/1D call. In a new video titled "Dear World Leaders," the band shares some of the fans' amazing ideas about the kind of world they want to live in.

Harry Styles said of the fan contributions: "They continue to amaze us with their passion and dedication, and this film goes to show how engaged they are in the issues that affect them."

Check it out – there are so many inspiring ideas here, including thoughts on world hunger, poverty, illness, clean water, education and equal rights.

Niall Horan is hoping to get some important eyes on this, saying: "I really hope world leaders take notice of what we and our fans are saying. Hillary Clinton tweeted us her support of action/1D last month. I'm hoping President Obama watches it next."

You heard him, Mr. President. We have no doubt we'll be hearing his support of action/1D soon too.

We're so proud of One Direction's campaign and the amaze fan response. This fandom can accomplish so much...{bursting with pride}
