We are experiencing a weird range of emotions surrounding the news that Taco Bell is now offering a taco shell made of fried chicken. Think of it like a giant, flat chicken nugget folded up with all the usual taco business happening inside.
Our stomachs are dying to try at least one bite of this strange new food development, while our brains are reeling us in like 'girl, you know that's not gonna end well!' Sorry brain, stomach wins. We could never live with ourselves if we didn't at least TRY it.

So, here's what we know about it so far. It's called the Naked Crispy Chicken Taco and it's only available at select Taco Bell locations for the time being.

"The Naked Crispy Chicken Taco is our latest food innovation that delivers on our commitment to provide craveable, fun food you can only get at Taco Bell," a spokesperson told BuzzFeed. "It's our first and only taco with its shell made from premium, all-white meat chicken and filled with shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese and fresh diced ripe tomatoes. We're conducting a small test in Bakersfield, California and will roll out nationally if successful."

One Reddit user, who posted the above pic of the confusing food concoction said that it's "pretty good and a little spicy."

Of course, people were thinking that it could just be a big hoax (because nobody would REALLY make a taco shell out of fried chicken, right?) and then someone posted this pic of it on the actual Taco Bell drive-thru menu. There it is, in all its glory, on the bottom left.

And there you have it. Brb, taking a road trip to Bakersfield...
