Cinnabon parent company Focus Brands announced in August that they're partnering with the app Postmates to bring a delivery service to all of their brands: Carvel, Cinnabon, Auntie Anne's, Moe's Southwest Grill, McAlister's Deli, and Schlotzsky's. Yes! Our PMS cravings just got a whole lot more convenient.
The best part: There is not a minimum price for ordering. There might be a fee, but it's worth it if you're binge-watching Gossip Girl and your pretzel and cream cheese craving starts to take over. The wait time promises to be no longer than an hour, and to start off the service will be available in the Atlanta area, Dallas, L.A., Portland, San Francisco, Austin, and NYC.
Taco Bell launched a delivery service last year in select cities, and Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts are in the works for their own delivery service. Yes, I'm telling you that your Pumpkin Spiced Latte could be delivered to your door before you leave for school or work.
I, for one, am loving this new trend. For those that say this is just an enabler for lazy people to not change their lifestyle habits, you can put your judgement aside—everyone has an inner couch potato. On the flip side, there are grocery delivery options like Instacart, Amazon Fresh, and Peapod you can take advantage of to cook up a healthier option than a sticky bun.
