Twitter tested out an unconfirmed new feature at the VMAs, and gave exclusive access to Taylor Swift, Pharrell Williams, and Big Sean. The new app allows you edit videos with stickers and text, similar to SnapChat. Here are some the stars made:
According to TechCrunch, Instagram has over 300 million users, way more than Twitter. In an effort to combine the fun of SnapChat and sharing capability of Instagram, Twitter's new tool could revive the platform.

This isn't Twitter's first attempt at driving more users this year; Twitter released native video capture to their platform and also had a slew of celebs use their Periscope integration. This new feature—or standalone app—is an effort that is targeted more to a younger demographic than their previous efforts. Watch out, SnapChat.

For now, the metadata behind this is cryptic enough to where it can't be pinpointed if this is a new app or not, but hopefully Twitter will release the new features to all of us peasants soon with the dirty details.
