One Direction have ended their U.S. tour, performing their final North American date of the On The Road Again tour over the weekend.

While fans are feeling all the feels over the end of another 1D chapter, some of the guys shared their messages of thanks and left the fandom a little happier. With One Direction set to take a break after the release and promo of their upcoming fifth album, it's unclear when they'll be back together and touring the states.

Harry Styles tweeted: "Thank you Boston. That was the perfect way to wrap up the U.S. Tour. Thank you to everyone who works to make the shows happen."

He added: "Thanks for spending some time with us. It's been an amazing tour, can't thank you enough. Thanks for having us. All the love."

Liam Payne shared a video of him lip syncing along to "If You Leave Me Now," writing: "Sad sad sad see you soon America and Canada too you will both be missed a lot thank you for years of amazing crowds and celebrations."
Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan haven't yet commented...

Fans weighed in on the tour ending and, as you'd expect, there was a mix of freaking out and trying to remain positive about the future of the band. We're just going to keep replaying this epic group hug over and over and over to get us through any moments of doubt...
