That whole Ariana Grande donut licking scandal is well behind her – and she's learned from her mistake, in a huge way. In a new interview with Good Morning America, she explained more about how her actions had such huge consequences.

She told GMA, "First of all, my behavior was very offensive and I apologized. There's no excuse, or there's nothing to justify it. I think as human beings, we all say and do things that we don't mean at all sometimes."

As you may recall, this summer Ariana was caught on the donut shop's cameras sneaking a lick of donuts and commenting, "What the f**k is that? I hate Americans. I hate America. That's disgusting."

So...big oops. But she's certainly not the first person to ever say or do something regrettable. Being famous and a role model to so many, however, Ari really has to be aware of her actions.

Ariana further explained how we have to learn from mistakes, saying "that's how we grow." She also learned "what it feels like to disappoint so many people who love and believe in you, and that's an excruciating feeling."

We're guessing she won't have a huge slip-up like that ever again.

She also explained: "You have to remember your words, your actions have ramifications, and you have to really think about what you're about to say and do, because it's important."

We love the message that she's spreading and while it sucks that she even licked people's food or said the things she did, it sounds like she definitely learned a big lesson.
