Does no one care about cuffing season anymore (it's right around the corner)?

Following a ton of celeb break-ups this summer, Adrienne Bailon is the latest star to split from her beau, calling off her seven-month engagement with her longtime love of six years, Roc Nation exec Lenny Santiago, according to E! Online.

Adrienne hasn't talked about the break-up on social media just yet, but she did tell the audience of her morning talk show "The Real" today that they had called it quits.

"Through the summer, I went on my little Eat Pray Love journey and it was a time for me to come to terms with my own truth and my honesty and I am not engaged anymore, and we're in a good place," she said.

"It's not an 'aw' thing, I promise you. We're gonna be great friends forever and I think it was a hard decision to make when you're with somebody for such a long time," she continued. "I think as women, we have a hard time with change. It was hard for me. But you have to be true to yourself. You have to be honest with yourself. And I think having time on my own gave me that opportunity. I'm so grateful to have girls who love and support me, and we're gonna be OK."

Adrienne first announced her engagement to Lenny on the show back in February, flashing a huge diamond sparkler on her ring finger, and gushed to Us Weekly at the time about their relationship.
"I am so excited to be marrying my best friend," she told the mag. "There's nothing like having someone that makes you laugh, that encourages you, and motivates you...He's such an incredible person and they say there's always a great man behind a great woman and I say the same for him. He's been that great motivation behind everything I do."

We're not going to lie...just like the rest of the celebrity splits that were announced this summer, we're sad to see that Adrienne's engagement didn't lead to the wedding and marriage of her dreams.

But, we're glad that she is okay. Break-ups happen for a reason, and this just gives her the opportunity to meet the right man for her. Although she hasn't talked about the split on social media just yet, she did re-tweet a sweet tweet from her Real co-host Loni Love, who named her her Women Crush Wednesday. Got to love girlfriends.
