On Wednesday, Drizzy uploaded a photo of himself and Lorde to Instagram, and given the rapper's unparalleled way with words, obviously he didn't stop there. Drake captioned the photo, "Wifey (Low Key)" followed by three ring emojis, to which Lorde replied:
OK, Drake. If you're trying to throw everyone off your cologne-scented trail of shattered hearts, then it's totally working. Didn't we just see you happily boo'd up with with Serena Williams in a restaurant? Honestly, we wouldn't mind it if a Lorde and Drake song came out of this seemingly playful social media exchange, but on the other hand, there's bound to be some pretty interesting music that could come into play should Lorde actually agree to be Drake's bae of the moment. But there is the matter of Lorde's boyfriend, so we'll just settle for the possibility of two of music's most royal coming together in the studio.

We don't know about you, but we definitely have room in our music collection for a few more emo songs.
