Not only does the arrival of New York Fashion Week bring out the fashionistas and spectators, but it also brings out the fat-shaming haters in droves. Fortunately, women like 19-year-old model Ireland Baldwin won't stand for it and waste no time in putting the trolls in their rightful place.

According to Seventeen, Ireland went about her usual business of slaying the runway for designers like Son Jung Wan, then she took to Snapchat to upload a video response to critics who deemed her "too fat" for the catwalk.

In the clip, Ireland serves major model face before defiantly chomping down on a pretzel. "NYFW. #goingtodoalotofpilates," she captioned the video. A message at the bottom of the screen reads, "Too fat 4 NYFW but I DID IT."

The fact that Ireland has to defend herself against folks who clearly need their eyes checked is truly disheartening. But the redemption comes from the fact that Ireland refuses to allow the negativity to get her down. She's always been adamant about calling out body-shamers, and even came to the defense of fellow model and friend Kendall Jenner during last year's NYFW when a magazine photoshopped cellulite onto her legs (that one still has us shaking our heads).

Since signing with IMG Models in 2013, Ireland's posed for Elle, Vanity Fair and DuJour magazines, which is proof that she's obviously comfortable in her own skin. We admire the fact that she insists on defining beauty on her own terms and, most importantly, hasn't allowed these disgusting attacks to slow her stride.
