Kris Jenner Doesn't Call Caitlyn By Her First Name

Not a lot was left to interpretation when Caitlyn Jenner made her debut on the cover of Vanity Fair, along with the headline "Call Me Caitlyn." Seems simple enough. Her new name is Caitlyn - or Cait - if you prefer and that should be the end of that.

On the season finale of I Am Cait, the 65-year-old celebrated her new name with a beautiful ceremony in her backyard along with her closest friends.

While it's been very easy for Cait's new friends to call her by her name, we've seen some of her family members struggle with it. Her mom, for example, admitted that she was having a tough time with accepting her new name. "It's going to be a struggle for me to get used to the change," Esther Jenner told Access Hollywood back in June. "I still have to call him Bruce. His father and I named him that."

Fortunately, she seems to have worked past that, seeing that Caitlyn is much happier now and she is really enjoying getting to know Caitlyn, too, as we saw on I Am Cait.

Unfortunately, Kris Jenner is still having a hard time with the whole thing, telling Access Hollywood that she isn't able to call Caitlyn, "Caitlyn," saying, "I say 'Jenner.'"

"It's hard, you know, it's really, really hard," she continued. "What I have realized in all of this is that everyone handles stuff a different way. No matter what it is, you know. We're all people. We all have different emotions."

The good news is that they're trying really hard to build a new bond together and Kris even said that she just had her over for a drink the other night and that it was "nice," so hopefully they'll be able to work through this and can stay close, especially since they share two kids together.
