The 2015 Emmys were Amy's last chance to win the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series award for the role of Leslie Knope in the now-ended show Parks and Recreation. She has been nominated for this award six times in the show's history.
All eyes were on Amy when she walked the red carpet: Her slinky black halter gown by Michael Kors, as credited by Hollywood Reporter, with a few perfectly placed faux cutouts was so cute. Those chunky bangles gave the look a slightly '70s vibe which is SO on trend. YASSS, Amy!
But once Amy lost the award again to Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who's won the Outstanding Actress trophy for four years in a row, she shed her glam red-carpet frock for something a little more fitting for the occasion:
Cool and collected, girlfriend donned a sweatshirt and sunglasses in the audience. As Entertainment Weekly pointed out, she reminded us of another character from one of Amy's comedy flicks: Damian from Mean Girls!
We love this throwback and we're so happy that Amy took her loss in stride. She's still #Winning in our book!
