Kim Kardashian admitted that after she caught Cait dressed up in women's clothes over a decade ago, she had actually heard her father speaking about Cait (then Bruce) liking to dress up in women's clothes.
In the Vanity Fair interview, Kris revealed that Cait had told her back in the '80s that she had tried some hormones, but not much beyond that. "There wasn't a gender issue," she told them. "Nobody mentioned a gender issue. Somebody mentioned that [he] at one point in his life liked to dress up."
Turns out, one of Cait's own children knew, too, but she figured it out on her own when she was very young. "I've known since I was a kid," Kendall Jenner revealed to Women's Wear Daily. "He never confirmed it to me, but I've known for a very long time."
And even though Cait is now living her authentic self and has a new gender identity, she's still the same person she always was. "It's the same person," Kendall reveals. "My dad says it herself sometimes, it's kind of like mourning the loss of someone, because it is. My dad is my dad, but he's not there physically anymore. But she lets me call her dad—that's the last little piece of dad I've got."
On Father's Day, Kendall echoed a similar sentiment when she posted this pic of herself and Cait from when she was a child, with the touching caption, "My whole life this soul was my daddy and just because your appearance is different now doesn't mean you were any less of a father to me my entire life.
