Earlier this week, Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson caused major waves by remarking that he does not support the idea of a Muslim U.S. president on NBC's Meet the Press, saying that Islam is inconsistent with the Constitution, according to Mediaite.

"I would not advocate that we put a Muslim in charge of this nation," Ben says. "I absolutely would not agree with that."

Uproar among the political world was quickly shut down by a Tweet from Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton: But the best retaliation came from Hillary's aide, Huma Abedin, who it seems joined the social network just so she could drop this #TruthBomb on the Twitterverse: Even religious conservative Republicans like Mike Huckabee and Ted Cruz have supported the right for all religions to hold office, thanks to the No Religious Test Clause in the Constitution.

If there's ever been a reason for a person to join Twitter, this is it! And judging by the fact that her new Twitter bio says "devourer of french fries & ice cream," we think we could be friends IRL.
