Azealia Banks totally lost it on a flight attendant while de-boarding her flight in Los Angeles Tuesday, with TMZ posting a video that shows the rapper calling the man a "f**king f***ot."
According to the site, Azealia "made a beeline" to the front door when the flight landed just before 1 a.m., but a French couple was blocking her exit as they pulled their luggage from the overhead. When Azealia tried to squeeze by them, TMZ said the French man put his hand out, and that is when she "went nuts." She reportedly spit in his face, punched him in the face and clawed his shirt.
At that point, the flight attendant grabbed her bag and told her to calm down. Then, after she lost her balance and fell in a seat, a tug of war with the bag started happening between her and the flight attendant. It didn't end there though. A co-pilot came out, told Azealia the police were called and she ran off the plane.
Police caught up with her at baggage claim, but the couple reportedly decided not to press charges because they were in Los Angeles on holiday and didn't want the hassle. Meanwhile, Azealia is claiming the French man hit her in the face. It sounds like the whole thing was just a mess.
After everything went down, Azealia hit Twitter and went on one serious rant Tuesday, saying among many other things that she is bisexual (which she has said before) and meant nothing by the expletive she said to the flight attendant.
She did apologize to fans though, and added, "the fans saw how those men were handling me. The fans know that I'm 5'2, 106 lbs and was genuinely terrified in that moment. I've been a victim of domestic abuse before and I have a flight or fight reaction whenever men get in my face. And to be quite honest IM REALLY tired of the world trying to police the way black women should or shouldn't express themselves."
I am bisexual. my brother is trans. My employees are all gay men. . Nothing else to say.— AZEALIABANKS (@AZEALIABANKS) September 22, 2015
And it looks like she also got another flight with a smile.
I will make one apology. And it's to apologize to the feelings of the people who enjoy my music and hate seeing me in drama.— AZEALIABANKS (@AZEALIABANKS) September 23, 2015
