"The Dress" Is Now a Halloween Costume, Because Obviously

Earlier this year, a photo of a dress hit the web and nearly started World War III. No one could agree on whether "The Dress" was black and blue, or gold and white, and it led to plenty of infighting in families and groups of friends: you were firmly planted on Team Gold And White or Team Black And Blue, and nothing could sway your opinion. Ultimately, we all got over it and accepted that people simply saw the thing differently (except it's totally white and gold, and you're wrong if you see otherwise). Now, "The Dress" is letting us have it both ways with a Halloween costume that shows all of the colors the dress could be.

Let's be honest: it was inevitable for "The Dress" to get the Halloween costume treatment. Remember how the internet exploded with Miley Cyrus Halloween costumes - which included plenty for your pet - after her video for "Wrecking Ball" aired? If something is remotely trendy at any point in the year, you better believe that someone is going to try to sell a costume of it.
"The Dress" is a pretty ridic choice for Halloween, but it's definitely not the worst of fad costumes to hit the internet. It's way, way less offensive than the deplorable Caitlyn Jenner costume, and a lot less hassle than toting around a paper mache wrecking ball. If your looking for a costume that requires minimal dressing up, then "The Dress" isn't a bad option: just don't let your friends fight over you all night.
