Not long after becoming the face of Marc Jacobs in June, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith's 14-year-old daughter signed with Kendall Jenner's modeling agency, The Society Management.
"#NowRepresenting A grand welcome to @gweelos! #WillowSmith," the company posted on Instagram Tuesday, along with an artistic snap of the singer covering up one eye. According to Us Weekly, this means we may see Willow hitting high fashion runways in the near future.
When Marc announced Willow's first major modeling gig earlier this year, he wrote on Instagram, "Ever since our first Juergen Teller ad in 1998 which featured Kim Gordon on stage wearing my dress, I have always preferred collaborating with the people who inspire me to give new life to the clothes we show on our runway."
"Beauty, style and talent know no age," he continued. "It is those individuals whose creativity, unique vision, and voice inspire all of us here to create and express ourselves through our medium: fashion." Willow has already made it clear she loves to express herself through fashion as well, calling herself a "high fashion nomad."
"I could literally climb a mountain and survive a couple nights in nature," she told Billboard. "That's a requirement for my clothes because one day I was on the freeway and I saw a mountain, so I literally just pulled over and climbed it. If you're an artist, the way you dress also gives people a vibe of how your music is and your personality."
Clearly, this is the perfect gig for her.
