The day has finally arrived for Amber Rose's highly-anticipated SlutWalk, an event that she hopes will be just the beginning of empowering women all across the globe.

The SlutWalk, hosted by The Amber Rose Foundation was established to empower women and LGBT, and is aimed at combatting issues such as sexual injustice, victim blaming, derogatory labeling and gender inequality.

The Los Angeles event, which they are hoping will expand to other cities in the future, had a huge turnout and featured entertainment, a panel of speakers and experts, various food and merchandise vendors, sexual awareness and HIV testing booths as well as speakers sharing empowering messages like this one:

Amber's mom was also at the event, and was pictured holding up a sign that read "F**k Yo 30 Showers," referencing her daughter's ex, Kanye West's Power 105.1 Breakfast Club interview in February, where he said, "It's very hard for a woman to want to be with someone that was with Amber Rose...I had to take 30 showers before I got with Kim [Kardashian]."

While Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were off-limits during the red carpet interviews, we think Amber's mom said all she needed to say with that one simple sign.

A GoFundMe page was established for the SlutWalk and had raised $55,000 of its $65,000 goal at the time of the event.
